North Branch School Receives the Virginia Naturally Exemplary School Award

For the 5th consecutive year NBS has been awarded the Virginia Naturally Exemplary School Award. Since its inception five years ago, this program has recognized schools with outstanding programs to increase environmental awareness and stewardship of Virginia's youngest citizens. NBS is one of a small handful of schools that have received this award for five straight years! Many thanks to our faculty who make such great use of our on-site resources and inspire the children to learn more and do more for the environment. Special thanks to Toni Ranieri, who for the past 20+ years, has spearheaded this effort.
